Lite Window and Door was founded by Eric Waddell with a big vision and a truck tailgate. After years in the corporate window and door world, Eric saw an opportunity to deliver better products, better service, and better pricing—on his own terms.

Starting with a few loyal contractors, Eric built the business by visiting job sites, earning trust, and leveraging his deep industry knowledge. Partnering with Quaker Windows from day one, Lite quickly grew to become their largest single-location distributor.

What began in a small three-bay shop in North Liberty, Iowa (pictured above), has grown into a 20,000 sq ft facility in Solon and a dedicated team of employees. Today, Lite continues to grow rapidly while staying true to its roots: honest work, great service, and unmatched product expertise.
